Embracing Perfection and Passion: My Story with WayV and Graduate School
It's been months since I haven't been able to write a blog due to my hectic schedule with both work and my graduate school on weekends. A lot has happened in those few months.
-First Semester of my MBA journey-
The first semester has just finished, and final grades are out. Thankfully, I got 1.25 in all my subjects.
However, I was unsure of what to feel. Out of five individual assignments, I got 7 out of 10 in the final one, while the rest were all 10. In the final team assignment I facilitated, we only scored 19 out of 20, while the rest of our team assignments were perfect marks. Should I be happy about it or disappointed that it wasn't perfect?
This perfectionist side may stem from intense academic expectations I faced growing up. The memories of my grades from university, ranging from perfect 1.0s to a failing 5.0, still echo in my mind.
One thing's for sure: when things got overwhelming, I turn to WayV as my safe space to relax and reset as a way to conquer another day.
I need to remember that those traumatic experiences are all in the past. I should truly appreciate my efforts and blessings, whether big or small.
Now, I should celebrate, relax, and do what makes me happiest— listening to WayV.
-Becoming a legitimate FAN GIRL-
I have always been a K-Pop fan, but was not the type to purchase merchandise previously. It could be because I now have the means to buy merch, which has led me to this point. I am more invested into becoming a legitimate fan girl of WayV (NCT's Global Unit, a K-Pop group).
All theirs songs are top tier, making it easy for me to enjoy their music more. With that, I made a pact to purchase at least one of WayV's previous albums in a month to support them and catch-up with the fandom.
Honestly, tuning in to WayV gives me joy through tough times. Yes, they kept me sane without them knowing.
Becoming a Wayzenni (fandom name for WayV fans) is such an exciting journey!
While waiting for their comeback this year, I'd like to share Ten's (WayV member) new mini album, STUNNER. All of the tracks are easy to listen to, even if you're not into K-Pop. I can attest to that.
-Updates and Highlights-
I have so much to share with my life updates this first quarter of 2025 but these two themes have been my constants and highlights. How about you? What are your constants and highlights during the past months of 2025? I'd love to hear about it in the comments!
